Last day in Hong Kong

Wow, time has just flown this week! It is late Saturday afternoon here, and we are just getting ready to meet up with a couple from our travel group. They are going on to another province in China to get their child and then we'll meet up again in Beijing. They are from Thunder Bay (where it all began for John and I...)!

Last night we went on a very cool harbor cruise and an 8 course Chinese dinner in a floating restaurant followed by a view of the night lights... Toronto really needs a few more lights! The night ended with our tour guide singing Celine Dion through the bus microphone. Let's just say, words cannot accurately describe it...

Today we went on a tram up Victoria peak which is the highest point in HK, it was so steep going up that the buildings looked crooked! We decided to take a bit of a breather this afternoon and relaxed by the hotel pool. It is less than 48 hours until we meet Nicole, nerves are starting to set in a bit, along with excitement and a little fear! You would think that this would get easier 2nd time around!

  2. I am excited and nervous for you too Adele. And call me selfish, I feeling a little sick that I didn't stay on that part of the world to see you guys and play around Southeast Asia. It is a regret. But I will stop my pity-party and wait patiently for the new news!!!!
